What is immunity?

Under immunity, the cells and tissues of our body work to protect us from various diseases. Immunity provides such a protective shield to our body that the body does not easily fall prey to any common disease. When the immune system becomes weak, problems like cold and fever often persist. A strong immune system can protect us from various germs and infectious diseases.

Due to weak immune system :

There can be many reasons for weak immune system. This can be affected by everything from your diet to your daily routine. Know below the various reasons for weak immune system

  • Immunity being weak from birth.
  • Due to chemotherapy or other medications for cancer.
  • After organ transplants, taking medicines to keep that organ functioning.
  • Due to infection.
  • Consuming alcohol.
  • To smoke.
  • Lack of nutrients in the body.
  • HIV (main cause of AIDS)

Symptoms of weak immune system :

There are many symptoms of weak immune system, which are described below:

  • cough with mucus or dry cough
  • shivering
  • feeling tired quickly
  • remain restless
  • having fever
  • having a headache
  • loss of appetite
  • nausea or vomiting
  • difficulty taking deep breaths
  • Chest pain     

Home remedies to increase immunity :

To strengthen your immunity, you can use the home remedies mentioned below.

1 . Ginger :

Ginger

Material :

  • one spoon crushed ginger
  • a little more than a cup of water

Method of use :

  • First of all, keep the water warm.
  • When the water becomes slightly hot, add ginger to it.
  • Now cover it and let it boil for three minutes.
  • Now filter it and consume it.
  • This process can be done twice a week.

2. Garlic :

Material :

  • 3 to 4 cloves of garlic
  • half teaspoon honey

Method of use:

  • Crush the garlic and make a paste.
  • Now add honey to it.
  • Now consume this paste in the morning or evening.

3. green tea :

Material :

  • a green tea bag
  • a cup of hot water
  • Sugar as per taste (optional)

Method of use :

  • Add green tea bag to a cup of hot water.
  • Put the tea bag in the cup for two-three minutes.
  • Now remove the tea bag.
  • Add sugar to taste and enjoy green tea.

4. Turmeric :      

Material :

  • two small pieces of turmeric
  • honey 1 tsp
  • a bowl
  • a large cup of water

Method of use:

  • Pour a large cup of water into the bowl.
  • Now soak turmeric in it.
  • Leave it in water for about five to six hours.
  • Then take it out and grind it to make a paste.
  • Now add honey to it.
  • Now consume one teaspoon of this mixture.
  • This method can be used twice a week

5. Apple vinegar :

Material :

  • apple vinegar 1 teaspoon
  • 2 cloves of garlic

Method of use:

  • Take a bowl and add apple cider vinegar to it.
  • Now soak the garlic cloves in it for 1-2 hours.
  • Let the garlic be thoroughly absorbed in the apple cider vinegar.
  • Now it can be consumed once or twice a week.

6. vitamin C :

Material :

  • two-three kiwis
  • Method of use :
  • Wash the kiwi thoroughly with water.
  • Now clean its peel.
  • Now cut the kiwi into small pieces and consume it.
  • This is a beneficial fruit, which can be consumed in breakfast.

7. Oregano :

Material :

  • Celery- half teaspoon
  • Basil leaves – 5
  • Black pepper powder – half teaspoon
  • Honey – one spoon

Method of use :

  • Pour a glass of water in a vessel and add celery, black pepper powder and basil leaves to it.
  • Then let the water boil for five minutes. After this turn off the gas.
  • When it cools down slightly, add honey to it and consume it.
  • In case of weak immunity, it can be consumed once daily.
